It’s so simple…….can the gooseberry be steamed too?? Instead of pressure cooking?? Adding fresh lemon juice won’t the pickle get spoiled ma? It’s something very new pickle recipe I have seen so far.

You can steam cook.Adding lemon juice will help to preserve the pickle.It is basics.

Any method of making nellikkai pickle by drying it under sun? Nellikkai podi/ chutney recipe also pls post.
When we dry it under Sun, we use for Thayir pachadi only.Pickle colour will be dark.
I will try to show podi, chutney & Thuvayal also.
